Where I officially become an author

You can find my author’s page on Amazon and see that my first (very short) collection of short stories is available. It’s only $3 – and it makes a dandy gift for Christmas.

  1. OMG YAYYYYYYYYY!

No, really, this gave me a big smile when I saw it and I bought it instantly. It is winging its way through the ether towards my Kindle at frightening speeds at this very moment!

    Congratulations, Tomio! 🙂

    • Thanks! Feel free to write a glowing review…unless you don’t like it, in which case, you should say nothing.

      • One more thing — well, two, now that I read your comment:

Did you opt for the “Kindle Select” program that allows some users to borrow or lend the book, or did you just go for the straight 70% royalty option? I’m working on my own book and I’m not sure which option to choose.

Two, if you know a way to have reviews show up under a pen name, let me know. My partners prefer some degree of sexual privacy — which is tough since they’re sleeping with a blogger 🙂 So I try not to make too many links between my personae. I think I’m just going to have to make a new account under my pen name just so I can review some of my more saucy reading…

        • I opted for the Kindle Select so people can borrow it. The way I look at it, I blog for free, so trying to make people pay for every word I write is kind of coming late to the game. Besides, I don’t really think it’s possible to stop people if they really want to. The book has been borrowed a few times already, so the way I see it – free publicity.

I don’t know how to leave a review at Amazon without disclosing your name. If you like, you can do it here.
